Relief Work – Fire Tragedy in Vikas Nagar, Lucknow By JDA Foundation

What we did on the ground

A sudden fire outbreak in Vikas Nagar, Lucknow, left several families devastated, destroying homes and essential belongings within minutes.

In this difficult time, JDA FOUNDATION quickly stepped in to support the affected families. Our team reached the site with immediate relief materials, providing food, clean drinking water, clothing, and temporary shelter support to those who had lost everything.

We also distributed essential items like blankets and hygiene kits to help families cope with the aftermath. Through our efforts, we were able to support 100+ affected families, helping them get through the immediate crisis. Beyond physical aid, we stood with them emotionally, offering reassurance and strength during a time of shock and loss—helping them take the first step towards rebuilding their lives.

Objectives of the Project

To provide immediate relief support to families affected by the fire

To supply clean water, clothing, and hygiene kits to maintain health and dignity

To ensure no one sleeps hungry by distributing food and ration kits

To offer emotional support and reassurance during a traumatic situation
